LOTUS Programme¶
II-Research is open to hosting eligible graduate students and postdoctoral researchers from India through the JST LOTUS Programme, when their research interests align with our active Japan–India collaborations.
The programme supports research exchanges in Japan and is designed to strengthen joint research, collaboration, and institutional networks between Japan and India. Participants are jointly supervised by faculty members from institutions in both countries.
Who should contact us¶
We welcome inquiries from prospective participants interested in areas such as:
- Information retrieval and AI-powered search
- Retrieval-augmented generation
- Multimodal information retrieval
- Trustworthy AI and misinformation mitigation
- Human-centered AI and human-value understanding
Before contacting the laboratory, please prepare:
- A curriculum vitae
- Your current institution, degree stage, and supervising faculty member
- A concise description of your research interests
- How your proposed work connects to an active or planned Japan–India collaboration
- Your preferred exchange period
