About II-Research¶
II-Research stands for Information Intelligence Research. We are a research group at the University of Tsukuba working at the intersection of information retrieval, artificial intelligence, and human-centered computing.
Our goal is to develop intelligent systems that help people access useful information, reason with reliable evidence, and make better-informed decisions.
Our approach¶
We combine fundamental research with practical system development. Our projects span retrieval and ranking, retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal learning, knowledge graphs, user understanding, commonsense reasoning, and computational human-value understanding.
We value rigorous evaluation, open collaboration, and research that considers both technical performance and societal impact.
